This is true old-fashioned lye soap—the kind Grandma relied on generations ago. Our version may be a bit gentler than hers, but it’s crafted with the same simple honesty and care.
Each bar is pure and natural, made entirely by hand using time-honored methods. You’ll find no added colors or fragrances, and absolutely no phthalates, parabens, sulfates, or triclosan—harmful additives commonly found in commercial “beauty bars.” Those mass-produced bars often act more like industrial cleaners than real soap, stripping away your skin’s natural oils and leaving it dry and irritated.
At Natural Handcrafted Soap Company, we do things differently. Our soaps are made with wholesome, skin-loving ingredients like organic coconut oil, Greek olive oil from our friend’s organic olive farm, lanolin, and sustainable palm oil. We infuse them with therapeutic-grade essential oils and pure distilled water—nothing more.
After being hand-cut and custom stamped, each bar is stacked to age naturally for several months to a year, much like fine cheese or red wine. This slow curing process creates a dense, long-lasting bar that produces a rich, creamy lather and leaves skin feeling soft and renewed.
